If your campaigns aren’t working as well as it should, let us help you with a few tips on how to optimize your campaigns.
Top 3 Marketing Mistakes:
1. Insufficient Marketing Funds
Let’s face it, not everyone is made of money and can drop thousands of dollars on an advertising campaign. Just to be safe, a lot of marketers will spend $20-$100 to test the waters. However, there is such thing as being too conservative in your spending. Insufficient marketing funds simply will not allow you to bid on enough Keywords and Channels. Not enough Keywords and Channels will mean that your ads will show up on a limited number of sites. Your conversion data will also be insufficient for your account manager to optimize. Essentially the money you have already spent is lost, and all your marketing efforts have gone to prepare your prospects to buy from the competitors.
Solution – We recommend the minimum campaign spending to be $300. This will provide funds to bid for enough Keywords and Channels to support the products you are trying to sell. If your budget is limited ($20 to $299), we would recommend you to test out CPC campaign, in which you only have to pay when visitors are interested and clicked into your landing page. It will also provide enough conversion data to allow your account manager to help you optimize your campaign. Lastly, it will tell you if the offers you are running are worthwhile.
2. Keywords and Channels that don’t convert
You made a great ad but you are not getting any clicks or traffic to your landing page: chances are, the Keywords you bid on is attracting the wrong audiences, and your ads are displaying on sites that are irrelevant to what you’re trying to sell. Your ads become stile over time and you lose out on dozens of potential sales.
Solution – If you meet the minimal spending requirement above, just send your account manager an email and tell them the situation. We will help you block the Keywords and Channels that are not converting as indicated. This will allow more funds to be allocated to Keywords that are generating conversions and save you hundreds on marketing spending.
1. Websites that don’t convert
You have a great ad that generates dozens of clicks but you are not getting any conversions: this happens from time to time and chances are your ads are attracting the wrong audiences. This could be your Keywords and Channels as mentioned above, or your ad is not reflecting the content to your landing page. Essentially you are haemorrhaging money from your campaign.
Solution – If you meet the minimal spending requirement above, just send your account manager an email and tell them the situation. We will help you block websites that are not converting as indicated. This will help you maximize your campaign spending
We hope this information on optimizing your campaign was helpful. Please provide us some feedback and how your campaign went. Your success is ours.
